my friends rode their bikes from beijing to shanghai around the time of the olympics. they made this great, fun feature doc about it, and i made some animated maps... lots of them
these maps were sprinkled thoughout the documentary footage of their 1k mile ride. definitely invented a few workflow tricks to be able to deal with some of the resolution issues i had going in close and out wide with having clean full rez textures. lets just say I love the dual view in After Effects even more now.
